SPONSORSHIP
OPERATION SUPPORT OUR TROOPS (S-O-T)
Purpose: To provide personal comfort packages for our deployed military personnel in harms-way.
Definition: A “sponsor” is a person, organization, or business who will, on a continuing basis, support “Operation S-O-T” by encouraging the shipment of packages and/or by providing material support to this project.
Organization and Facilitation: The Military Officers Association of Sarasota (MOAS) is a Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), and is the local facilitator of this initiative. MOAS maintains a website – www.supportourtroopsmoas.com where persons can obtain complete information as to what to send in packages or how to support our troops through material support.
The MOAS commitment is to support our deployed troops and is apolitical. Our only mission is to tell our deployed servicemen and women that we love them, support them, and pray for their safe return through packages and letters.
Be a sponsor or encourage your church, community, social or professional organization or business to become a sponsor.
